reconciliation

Last night in my Bible study we discussed 2 Corinthians 5:16-21. This verse talks about reconciliation. According to my Pastor, the church is trying to reconcile "sinners" with God and people with people. I was confused by this concept as was other people in my group. I was wondering what that meant to reconcile with people. Do we have to get along with everyone? We are human, that's not possible. My Pastor said that we are supposed to fix broken relationships. I started thinking about my broken relationships and if I tried to fix them I think it would just make things worse. Maybe I just need to forgive people and if I have done that then maybe that is enough and will make things good?

Anyways here are some interesting things that happened today:

10th April 1912 : Titanic sets sail on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York the Titanic has been described as April 10, 1912: the worlds most luxurious floating hotel, and was only 5 days out when she hit an Iceberg and Sank in the Atlantic with the loss of many lives.

10th April 1970 : Paul McCartney releases his first solo album after rifts between the group and announced that he has split from the Beatles.

10th April 1991: My baby cousin Tricia Leigh was born!

10th April 2003 : The House passes the bill creating a national Amber Alert system and strengthening child pornography laws.
