Today in History.

1942 - Jews were required to sew a yellow star on their clothes.

1943 - Norman Rockwell's portrait of "Rosie the Riveter" was published on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post. The "We can do it" poster is often mistakened for the magazine cover. Here is a picture of the cover:
